Composed by Jovino Santos Neto. Composed during the winter of 2011. I started it when I was an artist-in-residence at the Banff Centre in Canada and finished a couple of months later in Texas. I call it my “Central American” piece. The form follows the traditional Rondo form of choro music, but each section is extended. The whole piece is notated, and only the interpretation varies each time I play it.
